Soccer public betting is the share of picks on each side of a match's spread and total goals. You get the percentage, how many picks it's built on, and the crowd's side highlighted. It combines the CentSports consensus with our own players' full-game bets, one per player per side, and it keeps updating until kickoff.
Two bets, two sides each
Soccer's moneyline has a draw in it, so a two-way percentage would be lying to you a little. We skip it. What you get is the spread, which is the goal line (-0.5, +1.5 and so on), and the total goals, usually 2.5. Both are true two-sided bets, so the percentages actually mean something.

Reading the crowd like a pro
Under 60% is just a lean. Past 70% the crowd has made up its mind, and that's when we look at the price. Each match lists the lines at the sportsbooks we follow, with the best number for the popular side picked out. If you're going to side with the crowd, at least get the best number.
And keep an eye out for the reverse line move tag. It means most of the public is on one side while the line moves toward the other. Open the match to see the opening line next to today's. That's the bookmaker telling you the crowd isn't the whole story.

Does the public usually bet favorites in soccer?
