Betting rules: Contests

Both contests are free to enter. Prizes are real cash, paid by PayPal to the address in your Profile. One account per person, 21 and over.

Monthly Contest

• Every player gets a $100.00 Contest Balance each month. It's play money for the contest only: it can't be cashed out or moved to another balance.
• Every Contest bet is $5.00, from your Contest Balance. Wins (your stake plus winnings) go back to your Contest Balance.
• Contest bets can be spreads, totals, moneylines or player props, at odds of -140 or longer (so -140, -110 or +150 are fine; -150 is not).
• Contest bets are single bets: no parlays, no teasers and no bought points.
• Only games that start before the month's contest ends count. A game next month can be picked from the 1st.
• Bets are graded like every other bet: a push gives the $5.00 back, and a postponed or cancelled game is refunded.

Standings and prizes

• The leaderboard ranks players by Contest Balance. You're on it once you've made at least one Contest bet that month.
• Ties split the prize. Players who finish on the same Contest Balance share the place and split the prizes for the places they cover equally. For example, two players tied for 1st split the 1st and 2nd place prizes, and the next player is 3rd.
• The contest ends at midnight Eastern time on the last day of the month. Contest bets still waiting on a result then are refunded and don't count.
• Monthly prizes: 1st $25.00, 2nd $15.00, 3rd $10.00. Winners are shown on last month's leaderboard and paid by PayPal after the month closes.
• Your Contest Balance starts over at $100.00 in the new month. Nothing carries over.

Streak Contest

• Build a run of winning Streak picks in a row. Streak picks are spreads and totals (team totals too) at odds of -140 or longer.
• No moneylines or player props, and no soccer, UFC or golf.
• Make a Streak pick by ticking Streak on a bet, or with "Streak pick only" on the bet slip (no stake, nothing from your balances).
• One Streak pick at a time. You can make your next one once your last one is graded.
• A win adds 1 to your streak. A push keeps your streak as it is.
• Your streak goes back to 0 if a Streak pick loses, or if you don't make your next Streak pick within 3 days of your last one being graded.

Streak prizes

• 15 wins in a row: $100
• 17 wins in a row: $250
• 19 wins in a row: $500
• 21 wins in a row: $1,500

• When you reach a prize level you can claim it or keep going for the next one.
• Claiming pays the prize and resets your streak to 0. If you keep going and then lose, you get nothing for the levels you passed.
• Prizes are paid by PayPal to the address in your Profile.
• Full Access members get one Streak Saver a month: protect a Streak pick, and if it loses your streak is kept.
• When your first Streak pick of the day wins, you get $0.50 in your Free Bet Balance ($1.00 with Full Access). See the bonus rules.

Fair play

• One account per person. Prizes won with more than one account, or with shared or bought accounts, aren't paid.
• Results and grading follow the general rules. If a score is corrected, Contest bets are graded again on the right result.
