Best MLB Picks Today

FULL ACCESS

The best MLB picks today on this page are the sides that enough of the 100+ paid handicapping services we follow agree on, each rated from LOCK down to Silver. The top pick is free for everyone.

★ How our star ratings work

Handicappers. We track the picks of over 100 paid handicapping services every day. When enough of them agree on the same side, the pick earns a star rating.

Streak players. Every day thousands of streak players each make their one best pick. When they pile onto the same side, it earns a star rating too.

See the rating rules

NET = picks on that side minus picks on the other side. A pick needs both the NET and the % to earn a rating, and gets the highest one it reaches.

Streak picks need at least 5 picks and 60% on one side to show at all. Picks without a star rating can still be listed, marked as not star-rated.

Baseball puts a full card in front of you almost every day, and nobody needs an opinion on all of it. We narrow it down. We follow the picks of more than 100 paid handicapping services, and a game only shows up here when enough of them are on the same side. What's left is our list of MLB best bets for the day, sorted by how strongly the experts agree.

Reading a baseball pick on the list

Each pick names the game, the bet and the side, then shows how many experts are for it and how many are against. The star rating sits on top of that. LOCK is the highest, then Platinum, Diamond, Gold and Silver. A pick moves up that ladder when more experts get on it and fewer take the other team.

Two picks with the same rating can still look quite different once you check the counts, so read them. A Silver pick with a clean, one-sided count might suit you better than a Gold one with a crowd on the other side.

Every star-rated pick is graded and lands in the record at the top of the page. You can see it overall, for the last 7 days, for yesterday alone, or by rating if you want to know whether the Silver picks are pulling their weight. Cold streaks happen in baseball, and they show up in the record like everything else.

Starting pitchers shape most MLB predictions

Most baseball picks are moneylines, because the moneyline is the main bet in the sport. You pick which team will win the game. The price on it comes down mostly to the two starting pitchers. Put a strong starter against a weak one and the favorite gets expensive, so a pick on that team costs more to bet than it pays. An underdog pick pays more than you risk.

You'll see run line and total picks too. The run line is baseball's spread, usually 1.5 runs, so a favorite at -1.5 has to win by two or more. The total is the number of runs scored by both teams. Since a scratched starter can move all of these, check the current price on the MLB odds board before you bet a pick, and ask yourself whether you'd still take it at that number.

One free pick at a time

We open our top MLB pick to everyone and label it "Free pick of the day." Once that game's first pitch is thrown, the next pick opens. With afternoon and night games on the same day, you can often come back later and find a new free side.

Members with Full Access to MLB expert picks see every side on the list and which experts are behind each one. Everyone else sees a pick's side 10 minutes after its game starts.

Turning a pick into a free bet

Every new player gets a Free Bet Balance with no deposit. You can bet a pick on the full game, or on the First 5 Innings line if you trust the starter more than the bullpen behind him. Team totals let you bet one lineup's runs on their own. Everyone can bet moneylines up to -300, and Full Access members up to -1000.

When your balance runs out and your bets are graded, it refills. Every $100.00 of Free balance converts to $1.00 of Paid balance, or $2.00 with Full Access. In the Streak Contest you pick one game at a time and try to string wins together, which fits a sport that plays nearly every day.

What the betting public thinks

For the other half of the picture, our MLB consensus picks show the share of picks and money on every team, free for everyone. The streak crowd shows which side our own streak players are on, and "Public vs streak players" points out the games where the betting public and our players split.

Questions and answers

What are the best MLB parlay picks today?

Build your own from the star-rated picks on this page. Add two or more of them to a parlay on the MLB board; every leg has to win for it to pay, so each pick you add makes it harder to cash.

When are MLB picks updated?

We track the experts' picks every day, and the list changes as games start. Each pick drops off at first pitch, and the free pick moves to the next game.

Are MLB best bets guaranteed to win?

No. Expert picks are opinions, not guarantees, and a pick where most of the experts agree can still lose. The record on this page shows the losses along with the wins.

Can I bet these baseball picks for real money?

Bets on Paid2Bet use a Free Bet Balance, which isn't real money. The cash comes from the Streak Contest and the Monthly Contest leaderboard, which pay real prizes by PayPal.
